Ask the people who let them out.
Ten years is pushing it, it'll probably be much sooner. Most child molesters and rapists are repeat offenders. Many of them have multiple convictions for preying on children and women, yet they keep being let out over and over again. Life in prison is an even bigger fantasy than a 100% foolproof death penalty.
