Have you seen those obscene motorcades that drag dignitaries around?
Not just Bush's carcass, or Cheney's, but everyone who can get one, regardless of political party. It's a goddamned NASCAR event for the regime to get to Camp David. And decent people have to wait for them.
They aren't worth it. So we lose one once in a while, look at the fuel we'd save. And they're simply politicians and bureaucrats, it's not as if there isn't a line for those jobs. Fuel is scarcer than government functionaries.
Not only are they dispensible, it would be a boon.
