We all know Clinton used the pardon powers for self-enrichment, mostly through his library. That's a given. It was crooked, and he was a scoundrel for that and other things.
Given that, I wonder how many pardon's GWB will grant. We're aware of the Reagan and GHWB pardons, which where granted to excuse treason. Now it seems by any international standard there will be a need to excuse thousands of people for war crimes and crimes against humanity, for starters. Included but not limited to the higher-ups in the current administration.
Will there be, can there be, blanket pardons, for thousands of people? Do people have to be named, and accept? Does anyone think that Bush will only pardon himself and a few other higher-ups, the Cheney's, Rices, Libby's, Wolfowitz's and so on?
It would be interesting to know how many lawyers are working on those and other matters right now. How much money is being spent to cover the asses of those who have acted against humanity.
Milosevic went on trial for less that what the US has done. But his army wasn't big enough to protect him.

A surmise regarding pardons.
