A Canadian operated asteroid-hunting satellite should probe the sky in 2010.
The planned satellite is called NEOSSat.
It will be operated and monitored by Near Earth Space Surveillance [NESS]
headed by University of Calgary Planetary Science chair: Doctor Alan Hildenbrand.
The suitcase-sized satellite should orbit 700km up
and search for lost NEO asteroids from the past 30 years.
You can go to the University of Calgary website to get Dr. Hildenbrand's e-mail address.
Or you can go to the NEOSSat website to learn more about this first dedicated
NEO asteroid hunting satellite.
