I sympathize with your complaint, Doug. For what it's worth, it's not personal against the UK, they treat everyone who isn't exactly like themselves the same way. American Conservatives sneer with just as much gusto at fellow Americans of the non-Winger persuasion, and at every non-American...those who don't march in lockstep are members of the Axis of Evil, those who go along are, I suspect, secretly viewed as spineless for caving in. Either way, non-Americans are inferior and rightly subordinate, as far as American Conservatives are concerned. You can't win with Wingers.

Is this peculiar to American Conservatives? Or is it a consequence of Conservativsm in general? An iota of perspective, a parallax view from across the Atlantic, wouldn't go amiss.
