A list of mistakes:

1) Ignoring Clinton's warnings of bin Laden.
2) Cancelling the daily interagency information exchange, about the only hope at the time of
uncoveing the conspiracy.
3) Not putting National Guardsmen on planes after the 911 attacks, due to the concerns
of another federal union - Tom DeLay's advice
4) Leaving the tax cuts in place after the economy began to pick up.
You can not pay for a war with tax cuts.
5) Going into Iraq before bin Laden was killed
6) Not taking out Saddam and his evil sons with an air strike
7) Refusing international help in running Iraq
8) Sending in amateurs to run Iraq
9) Using too low a troop level at first to occupy Iraq

Except for 9) I think these are well considered and agreed upon criticisms held by both Democrats and Republicans. 9) wil be debated pubicly during this campaign.

By the way, solar activity appears to have fallen off, affecting food production; the ozone hole is still there (where is the new ozone data in TOMS format?), further affecting the climate; and the Earth will be in the debris stream of Comet Schwassmann Wachmann 3 in 2022.

Incidentally, we're losing the leadership role in space exploration and development.

Have a nice day.
