Why do they feel the need to remake true classics that had
nothing wrong with them to begin with? And if so, why can't
they find decent writers and an original idea?

Well, if nothing else, Hollywood will not get one red cent from
me on this latest debacle.

In other news, they found a complete copy of the 1927 classic
SF film Metropolis in Argentina. Hopefully it will be released for
global public consumption sooner rather than later.
