How I learned to love the Bomb

The Cluster bomb. It's dangerous. Not only does it blow people to bits, it shreds them when they don't die and if they don't detonate, they're a mess to clean up after the bombing is over. It kills so many civilians years after the war, that I've decided to love the bomb and IN TEN YEARS from now, all cluster bombs will HAVE to explode upon contact. 99% of them. I actually jut signed this bill.

And even though last month 111 nations, including many of our key NATO partners, adopted a treaty outlawing all current designs of cluster munitions, we boycotted the May talks, along with Russia, China, Israel, India and Pakistan. We are all leading cluster bomb makers who cite the military value of the deadly explosives. So, we're making money, get over it.

And remember, in ten short years, live, undetonated cluster bombs will no longer be a hazard for a civilian <population.>
