Thats funny and sad.
Credit card companies should be bending over backwards to cancel accounts of the deceased. One of those cards would be golden for identity theives. Nobody would ever check them and there is no way the CC companies can collect.
Now I wonder if there's a way to get the executor of your will to be responsible for cancelling all extraneous accounts in your name. It would be the polite thing to do at least and stave off potential ID thieves.
