One of these incidents was the behavior of a lunatic. The other was the behavior of a formal legal system.

If you want to declare the judge a lunatic, we can go with that.

I am not posting examples of some crazy person running loose in Britain having sex with animals or something. I am posting examples of official British policies, enforced by the legal system. The supposed mainstream.

A slightly better example to make your case might have been the government attack on Waco.
