I'm not an aerospace engineer, just a Space Cadet fan :)

As a computer systems & networks engineer and engineering manager I participated in 2 internal 'rogue' alternative approach design effort proposals. Although we had our s*** together, it was not appreciated by top management. Doubt that these guys will fare any better. Pity.
