Do you people not see the insanity of that argument?
Unfortunately, even if we hit a gusher on the first try, more domestically produced oil won't have an effect on current gas prices for may years to come.
You keep saying how drilling for oil in ANWR and other places won't do any good for at least ten years, but you've been saying that for at least TWENTY years. That oil could've and should've already been in the pipeline.
BTW, exactly how long do you think it'll take to bring "alternative fuel sources" online? A lot longer than ten years I bet.
