I'm just tickled Ed isn't losing his home. Why SHOULD the Donald give it to him rent free? Ed is elderly and he's had a tough row to hoe since his accident but there's a whole world of people out there losing their homes. Should the banks just forgive their debts? That isn't the way the world works. And we don't know, at least I don't know, what the agreement entails. Perhaps Ed is doing some work for the Donald which will pay part or all of the lease amount. The Donald is first and foremost a good businessman but he is also a humanitarian. I would bet that it is part business deal, part humanitarian aid for an old guy who became an institution in America.
What I'm saying is, don't rush to judgment unless you have all the facts. And then don't judge anyway--unless you're willing to pick up the tab for Ed's home. Then you'd have the right to stick your nose up in the air. Of course, that's never a good idea since you could drown when it rains. :-)
