I'm not.

It's a side issue, not really of any great importance. Most of America has always been religious, and yet we advanced in science, engineering, and economics hand over fist. How many people believed in creationism during Edison's time? When the Wright brothers first flew? When the Empire state building, Hoover dam, and the Golden Gate were built? During W.W.II? When we landed people on the moon? I just don't see it as the boogey man some people do.
