Palin voices many of the same points that the Concerned Women for America, an extreme right-wing organization for fundamentalist females, has championed: censorship, creationism, abstinence-only sex "education", opposition to abortion in all cases. I'm not sure what her position on acceptance of homosexuality is, but my guess is a big negative.
The CWA also opposes mandating the cervical cancer vaccination (which is the only way to make it universally available to uninsured girls), because cervical cancer caused by HPV is God's punishment for promiscuity.
I have seen what the injection of these so-called family values does to a community. It's not pretty. It often gets people involved in civic affairs, though: public name-calling, non-cooperation, even throwing rocks through people's windows.
I realize she comes from the polar regions, but the only more polarization I want to see in this country is more polar bears. And even at that, not so many that they'll eat my young.
More culture wars? This is "change"?
