WASHINGTON - "A top Pentagon official conceded Wednesday that coalition forces are not winning the battle against an increasingly deadly insurgency in Afghanistan, adding that the U.S. would revise its strategy for the region to include militant safe havens in neighboring Pakistan."

6 years of losing and it makes headlines that the "strategy" isn't working. Hopefully they will figure out that they either have to win hearts and minds OR control the territory with boots on the ground everywhere. The sad thing is that every military strategist since writing was invented has said the same thing. However, the CinC chooses to run wars based upon his "gut feeling". As did a certain WWII dictator responsible for enormous losses.
