re: Nice try, it’s apples and oranges

Timmons is conducting a study, not lobbying for earmarks. You have nothing.

From your article;

Under the McCain campaign's conflict-of-interest rules, announced in May, lobbyists who volunteer for the campaign must disclose their clients, agree not to lobby the campaign or McCain's Senate office and refrain from "involvement in any campaign policy-making on the subjects for which they are registered."

When this rule is broken, then you have something. Right now you are wrong.

McCain’s record shows he will change the way things have been run in Washington and Obama’s record showing he requested $740 million in earmarks in three years as a Senator shows he is for the same thing. He got a 7 figure earmark for the hospital where Michelle works and guess what, she got a raise to $300,000 a year. That’s the kind of change you can look forward to if Obama is president.

With Obama and Biden voting for earmarks on the bridge to nowhere and voting against the bridge repairs that Katrina destroyed shows they are not for the people but for themselves and there Washington cronies.

The only thing Obama is changing is his position as the election roles on.
