WASHINGTON - The Securities and Exchange Commission took the dramatic step early Friday of temporarily banning the routine practice of betting against company stocks.

That's about time. So they can't play the market and scrap and manipulate and vacuum more money out of the market that's inflated anyway? And you wonder why we're in such a <mess>?
