It really depends where on Galveston you are talking about. Everything behind the seawall faired well and can be rebuilt. Over on Bolivar, not so good. West beach, not so good.
If people want to build along the coast, in these hurricane prone area’s they should do so at their own expense. I am tire of our insurance and taxes going up so these people can enjoy living on the beach.
