The Democrats put together a bipartisan compromise with the Executive branch, then suddenly McCain rides into town and BOOM! The agreement falls apart. Now there is this ridiculous plan floted for tax cuts and easments on regulations on business, and having the treasury sell insurance?
Sounds like some people don't give a shit if they take the whole country down, as long as they look presidential and keep the faith.
Just a steaming pile if you ask me. This bail-out stinks, but we have not much time and it has about the best chance there is to work (slim). The idea that we're going to 'trickle down' our way out of this is laughable.
Thanks, McCain, for proving what Republicans are good for.
