She bothers people who love their country, who believe in the separation of Church and State, who are uncomfortable with leaders who feel the will of God is identical with the desires of Exonn, BP, etc. People who believe in individual liberties, who believe this Earth should be left to our children and grandchildren in a condition to support life, who don't like the power of elected officials to be used harass folks in family squabbles.

She is a threat to those who would like to see America's moral leadership restored, torture stopped, no American participation in a European war against Russia.

And so on.

It's not just the Conservatives who are concerned. It's any rational person with a desire to restore America to her former glory.

And one can only imagine the feelings John McCain has left for his country by attempting to inflict Palin upon it. Time has changed the man, he's a shell of what he used to be. Comparing the John McCain of 30 years ago with the John McCain of today is comparing the Galveston of 30 years ago with the Galveston of today.

There is no comparison.
