The no votes came from the red states. The yeas from the blue. Main street is not supporting bailing out Wall Street.
My Rep voted against it.
I would've voted against it.
I'm proud of my Rep.
I remember the Chrysler bailout of 1979. Where's Chrysler today, almost 30 years later? Oh yeah...still teetering on insolvency. Bailouts are not the answer. They just keep the corruption and disease in place.
I hope my Rep stays strong and votes against ANY bailout.
Trust me...there will NOT be soup lines with this depression. At least their wont be if a bailout isn't passed.
If a bailout IS passed - then you can watch as inflation shoots through the roof and the economy comes screeching to a longterm limp - probably for decades.
