For crying-out-loud, we just get him calmed down and you have to take off. You've read the posts, and you had the moral high ground. Please leave it.
I believe this was the first time one of these displays was shut down by peer pressure, peacefully. It seemed to me to be done, over.
This isn't an issue of right or wrong (you know where I stand on that), it's an issue of decency and fairness. You won. And then you couldn't resist, any more than I could have I'll admit, and now you're tied.
Not a bad outcome, if you'll just please leave it there.
