First, watch for them to smear the format, stage, audience and moderator. Everything it going to be touted as being against her.

Second, we have seen she is ill-informed, splattered, incompetent. A terribly funny and accurate parody of her was done by Tina Fey just using Palin's own words. It does not get any worse than that.

Our expectations of Republicans in general and her in particular are low. In order to get elected she will say anything and say everything, as does McCain, so that something will have to be on the mark. So that by now anything she does over and above the standard beauty queen speech, "I'm for world peace and I know what the world it and I know what peace is" will be considered genius. That will be portrayed as statesmanship, vision, and leadership. After all, they are claiming that she can see Russia over the Bering Strait as foreign policy experience.

Our expectations are so very, very low that she should be able to fall over that bar.

Biden on the other hand will be accused of condescension, browbeating and cheap shots.

Biden needs to be nervous. Rarely have we seen a setup like this.
