The US and the world deserves far, far better. And it's incredible anyone, anywhere would regard her as anything but a vocal, local yokel. Saying Quayle was better is true - and he wasn't world-class, or even distinguished. Had he not inherited a lot of money he would not have ever been known outside Indiana.

I know, you'd prefer Palin to anyone who didn't share her particularly extreme ideology, no matter how qualified anyone else was or how incompetent she is. Or how much trouble the US was in or badly the US needed competence. You've said that before.

And our choices are between competence for the US and a waffling, unstable old man with this equally unstable, egotistical and ideological sidekick. Between responsible government and big government and bigger deficits. (As if the Bush Legacy will leave any money or anyone who will loan the US more.)
