Dear Dr. Bakoh,

You come highly recommended to me for this sensitive task. Please don't be alarmed, it is simple, safe and will make both of us a lot of money.

I am a politician in the United States. I have just been given $100 billion in "bailout" money to do with as I please. Some of what "pleases" me might not be well understood by everyone. I could use a little "bailout" money myself, a little walkin' 'round cash, "backup", so I am forced to do this with the aid of friends and fine people such as yourself.

Making it harder, I am also surrounded by Secret Service agents at all times, and if Dick Cheney found out what I'm doing he'd want 50% for himself and 25% for Halliburton, leaving me precious little. I also have a wife who would try to muscle in. You can understand the need for discretion, and I understand you are a very discrete man.

If you would send me your bank account information as a demonstration of good faith I would deposit $1 billion in that account. I believe we should start small until we build up some trust.

After a while I'll ask you to forward that money less a generous fee for you to another account. I would anticipate your fee to be in the neighborhood of $25 million per transaction, though I can't pretend to know your overhead, employee expenses and so on. I have an MBA so I know that stuff.

Please let me know as early as possible so we can get started. I have a couple of months to do this and then they might start looking around for the money.

PS I think you should know that I have armed Predators watching you at all times, and if the money disappears I will have to designate you, your wife, those 3 kids and their spouses, their kids, and the nannies, drivers, cooks, housekeepers and so on as terrorists and pass that down to the Predator operators. You understand, I'm sure. George I mean "Tex".
