Right after it opened. My husband was in the USAF stationed in England and he wanted to be a charter member of Playboy in London and when my parents visited, we took them there to the Playboy Club. My Dad was fascinated by the bunny tails! He was so cute watching the bunny tails. I never did ask Mom what she thought but knowing Mom, it probably didn't bother her because she was very secure in their love.

I used to read the articles and short stories in my husband's Playboy. I'm not into beautiful women. Now hunky men... but I resisted getting into Playgirl. I'm convinced that way lies madness. Be happy with what you got or you might not have it anymore.
