On the other hand when McCain and Palin make absurd personal attacks...
...Obama rises further in the polls. Palin's ludricrous charges of "pallin' around with terrorists" struck most Americans as bizarre and inappropriate, and it's becoming apparent that it was a misstep that cost the Republicans many thousands of votes.
There are signs that McCain realizes this now, but not sure if many of his supporters do.
