Spacesuits
I'm reading this book and I'm wondering...
Spacesuits in the beginning were worn inside the spacecraft during liftoff and then for spacewalks, outfits were added.
It's not until 1977 that the first exclusively EVA suit was used...By the Soviets aboard Salyut 6 , the Orlan D
The US did it the first time 6 YEARS later!! With Musgrave and Peterson (exclusively EVA suit).
With Orion having weight problems, I can't imagine pressure suits would be worn, different from EVA suits.
The EVA suits should be meant for space or extra-terrestrial surfaces, not for the cabin.
Spacesuits have hard parts and front devices for control, neither one comfortable during high-G events!
