It's a shame she didn't send an aide to get the diapers while she spent some quiet time with her kid, rather than drag him, members of her staff, the Secret Service agents, the reporters and the photographers around Wal-Mart. Or if she had to leave the kid on the bus and dash in herself. But I would imagine she has precious little time with the kid anyway.

Some of us might view this as putting politics ahead of privacy, decency and motherhood.
