Supposedly credit is drying up everywhere. This may indeed be true for businesses, and I know banks are reluctant to lend to each other, but in the consumer credit department I still have banks and credit card companies dying to have me go deeper into the debt hole.
My mortage company (the one that the main mortgage is on) wants me to finance more equity out (no thanks!) I still have credit card companies pushing cards, and many stores, too (also no thanks!)
The only limit I found is that my equity line-of-credit company (different than my main mortgage) has informed me it would love to increase my line, but it can't right now. However, they aren't freezing the existing line. That's my only indication that credit is tight.
How about everyone else? You still getting the same credit spam you were getting a year ago?
