Where did the $2 trillion come from in the first place?
When the market is booming, I don't hear complaints about a retirement account being worth far more than the saver ever put into it.
But by all means, if private individuals aren't smart enough to handle their own financial affairs, turn it over to the same people in government who are currently handling our fiscal situation so well.
