YouTube is running smack up against copyright. It's still a fine site to visit for novelty videos and a good resource for small video producers to display their own work. But any time a video is bootlegged and the copyright holder discovers it, the copyright holder can (and should, if he or she wants to continue to keep the copyright) petition to have it taken down. YouTube must comply or face a lawsuit which they will lose.

In defense of intellectual property, I have to say I agree and approve, even though it becomes more difficult to access video clips.

It's better to look for sites that have the license to display their videos, like www.hulu.com. Hulu has short commercials, but you can pretty much count on a video staying there because they have the license to run it.
