This was racebaiting, the stuff of lynching, and without even checking the evidence McCain and Palin jumped on it, assumed it was true, and took it into their campaign.

I haven't seen reports of direct, personal calls from each of them to Obama and Biden apologizing. That would be the minimum decency would require. I haven't seen reports of their apologizing to the American people. May have happened, should have happened, I must have missed it.
