Without having any idea as to what the target was, the fact that the US has violated the airspace of a sovereign nation in order to stage a hostile attack. If that was done without permission there can be problems downstream.

The people of the US seem to forget these incidents but the ROW doesn't. The next time there is an attack on Americans or an American facility, instead of screaming bloody murder there may be some reason to regard it as provoked.

It's a slippery slope.

After Israel attacked that building a few months ago Syria might have been wise to bomb an Israeli facility.

And I'm not saying the US wasn't staging a "justified" attack. I'm just suggesting there can be a price to pay and the US shouldn't complain when and if it happens.

It would seem that the US and Israel are the busiest violators of others sovereignity.
