A consideration.
I've read that the October-November expenses (purchases) by candidates was determined by the money on hand at the end of September.
That hasn't stopped me from donating a pittance to Obama and my local senatorial candidate about a week ago, and I certainly will ship along another pittance to the people seeking the Dole and McConnel seats.
