re: Slow learners
I heard a story about a guy who claimed to have mathematical proof that Einstein's relativity theory was wrong. He took it to a physicist who analyzed it and discovered the guy was confusing two different parts of the equation and that's why he was getting the wrong answer. The man however continued to insist his math was correct even though the physicist showed him over and over again exactly where his mistake was.
Is it ego or mental illness or both?
