Hey RNE, I agree witch ya all (lol), but ever think that the oil companies might "have been in bed with" with the automakers for the past few decades, delaying the advent of a more fuel efficient car JUST to secure their industry?

I'll bet if you looked into the statistics, they were some of the biggest backers in the auto industry, or at least their henchmen were.
