In NW Oregon there is a McCain ad on the Rev. Wright about every 15 minutes. Wright is portrayed rather unfairly, as for instance when he damns America and leaving out that it was for very specific matters and not at all a general condemnation of the US.

However, for folks without comprehension past sound bites it looks effective.

McCain just couldn't resist the Karl Rove - Willy Horton tactics when push came to shove. A measure of the (lower case) man. And Republicans will do anything to achieve or stay in power. Every two-bit, third-world politician would be envious.

It's very sad.

By the way. Please don't try to say McCain isn't behind it. If McCain tried to say he wasn't responsible for this how could he possibly run the US?
