re: The deepest man

I was stationed in Guam a few years back, just north east of the Challenger Deep.

Interestingly, Mount Lamlam, the highest point on Guam, is only about 1200 feet above sea level, but when measured from it's true base, the bottom of Challenger Deep, it is teh tallest mountain in the world, beating Everest by nearly 8,000 feet.
