Where I work (a state University), they urge people to vote but if you have two hours before or after work, you can't take time off. Well, polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Missouri, so I can't take time off to vote. However, I am disabled and I can't wait in lines (for reasons I won't go into). I hope they have something worked out at the polls that will take care of me. I won't go at 6 because most likely the early bird lines will be long and I can't drive in the dark. I can't wait until after work because I can't drive in the dark. I almost ran off the road at our voting place the last time I did it AFTER work in the dark. So I'm going at 7:30 a.m. and praying the lines won't be too long. If they are, and I have to wait and can sit while being in line, and I'm late for work, I'll sue the bastards if they give me problems.
Encouraging people to vote?
