There is a lot of fuss over Palin's plans for 2012. She seems to be making plans, and the Republican Party seems to be making room for her.

Now here's a woman who managed to drag down the most popular Conservative in the country, who became a night-time laughingstock of the country, and who demonstrated absolutely no knowledge or interest in the affairs of the country. She's "challenged" ethically, has even more legal issues with her short governorship in Alaska coming down the pike, clearly thinks it's all about her. Taxes are paid for her to use.

Folks became infatuated and then tired of her faster than last month's #1 country-western hit song after she showed she has more in common with a "Pet Rock" and a can of Bud Lite than any freshman poly sci major at a community college.

And she thinks she's a leader of the Republican party. She and the GOP are acting as if she's the best the Republicans have to offer, the most capable and effective spokesperson for nearly half the country, a world-class stateswoman. At one time I would have thought they'd be smarter. At one time I would have thought that incompetence and ignorance would not be rewarded with awe and reverence. But I can learn.

Please, God, make it true. Put her on point, and let her demonstrate the values with which we have come to identify with Conservatives.
