....is this one of those arguments that involve universes that don't exist- like 'in some universe being less unpopular than someone else, but still more unpopular than any president in history is a good thing' type arguments?

Sorry, it must be my high-brow effete academic ivory tower mentality that keeps me from seeing your point. Or, it could be I was raised on a farm in Oklahoma and I know bullshit when I see it.
