That makes sense. Some of the posts around here have described the Democrats treatment of Lieberman as brutal and cruel. Having Lieberman appear to make the decisions he may need to rather than a punitive, mean pack of liberal wolves.
By the way, the same people who were shedding tears over Lieberman thought that Jeffords was one of the worlds bigger moral failures and frauds when he went Independent.
Dark logic again.
