And how much does Toyota have to pay their employees for health care?
If you want to point out the poor management of the Big 3 automakers and stupid decisions regarding the design and marketability of the products they produce, I'm all with you but it's the height of hypocrisy for you to decry the cost of wages and benefits in this country while at the same time railing against universal single-payer health care. I'd even grant that at times unions overreach.
Just maybe these companies would once again be able to be competitive against the countries that don't require employers to provide exorbitant health care plans for their workforce. But no, you'd rather rest on your laurels watching a huge segment of the population lose their jobs, their homes, their benefits because you're lucky enough to have your little piece of the pie right now.
What would your Jesus say? Oh, I forgot. You're an Old Testament kinda guy aren't you. Stone em.
