my guess is the Bill's Truck transaction completed the final link that allowed unambiguous connection of your name, phone, email, and other info into the same person.
I had a similar experience once when I logged onto the Sky and Telescope website and soon after started receiving advertising catalogs from a telescope manufacturer I had never made contact with. My name is not all that uncommon, so I'm convinced that some other fact in my biography allowed the link to be made.
You can get clues on how this works. My wife is constantly getting sales phone calls and advertising mail in Spanish, addressed to her specifically, although she doesn't speak the language herself. We both get information about medical products related to conditions only our doctors should know about. Although my surname is Spanish, a lot of non-Spanish speakers have it.
When I enlisted in the Naval Reserve in 1966 my middle name somehow wound up mispelled on my service record as "Rodriquez", instead of "Rodriguez". I didn't notice it until I was issued my dog tags along with the rest of my sea bag. To this day, I still occasionally get advertising addressed to "Rodriquez", even though I no longer use my middle name in any of my personal, business or official correspondence.
