Microsoft Bird's eye

Microsoft also has birds'eye views that are similar, but from higher up. Couple that with the aerial views and street views you can really get good info. I use them all the time in my line of work.

Check out http://maps.live.com/ though despite the name its not live. Once you are zoomed in, you can hit the bird's eye button if there is imagry available. Then you can rotate the view from the 4 different points of the compass.
