Is that not a contradiction?

I was speaking about existing space infrastructure, and rationally designed COTS launch vehicles funded and in the commercial queue. Ares I is an [DELETED] that should of never left the [DELETED], but it indeed did leave the [DELETED], the money and time is spent and lost, and I'm not going to [DELETED] and complain that we should somehow be able to go back in time and change those decisions and bring that time and money back. It's gone. Get over it. And I was the only one all over that [DELETED] architecture the minute it left the [DELETED] on September 22, 2005, if you can or will recall. Ares V is so out of scale with reality as to be delusional. We aren't going back to the moon, and we aren't going to Mars, certainly not before 2016, so there is no sense talking about it, or funding it any longer. Man on Mars groupies are as delusional as they come.

What would be bad is to continue the corruption and incompetence one day longer past January 20, 2009. But Americans are so [DELETED] and irresponsible and in such DEEP DENIAL of their complicity in this travesty, that it could very well happen. As long as there are Bush and Griffin apologists around, and there are millions and millions of them it seems, anything could happen yet. But it couldn't possibly be worse than the [DELETED] we've had to put up with so far. No, there is no contradiction here, we're still in great shape with regards to existing and developmental space infrastructure, even after eight years of this scorched Earth policy of despotism, nepotism, corruption and incompetence. If people would embrace scientific and engineering principles now over the faith based [DELETED] they so willingly bought into back then, things would get better fast.

If you had any understanding of the practices of engineering, you'd know that. Even if we stopped space exploration cold right now, our understanding of the principles of basic space flight and the structure of the universe would be in pretty good shape. Ares I was and still is that far of a step backwards in time. Orion is still a bad joke as well. This is what you get with pony tailed church attending delusional engineers running the show, as if they knew something.

I could go on and on about what a joke you people have made of NASA, but it would be lost on you. You are NASA groupies through and through.
