Obama needs to get his story straight. He says in a news conference "I had no contact with the governor or his office and so I was not aware of what was happening.â€

But Obama's senior advisor David Axelrod told a Chicago affiliate of Fox News that Obama had in fact spoken to Blagojevich about his empty Senate seat. Obama had a few people in mind.

Now there is a retraction from Axelrod saying he misspoke and there was no contact.
If so then why all the fâ€¦ing for nothing remarks from Blagojevich?

At least the people of Chicago will/should better served with another look at the Senate seat and a new governor.
