It's as if Trump has successfully internalized the public style of Mussolini and Hitler, the bombast that moves the authoritarian masses. In that respect he's more in line with the classics. But as his campaign disintegrates, he's showing how shallow the homage actually is. Benito and Adolph spent many years painstakingly building up their political parties and their paramilitaries, carefully building up support in successive victories.

But Trump seems to think he can waltz in to his first election, with no more than shrieking rage and flying spittle, and just assume that a political support infrastructure will materialize to support him...in much the way that he always finds a chair underneath his ass when makes a move to squat. The stuff you need just happens when you're a billionairemillionaire.
